Labourtech Canada will be held in Toronto on November 7, 8 & 9 and will include labor communicators and labor media activists from throughout Canada.

Announcing an exciting, new conference on unions, working people and technology. Labourtech 2008 will gather trade unionists, academics, and people using the internet and other technologies for social change for three days in Toronto.

When: November 7-9th, 2008
Where: Ryerson University, Toronto ON
Who:

  • union communicators
  • people who run union websites
  • community action and social justice groups
  • workers rights advocates
  • students and academics

The agenda includes hands-on workshops on cutting edge internet technology, demonstrations and workshops on technology in the workplace.

The conference will take place at a modern, dynamic facility, with witty, enthralling instructors and fabulous food.

We are looking into accomodations at nearby hotels.
